Position: Mentorship Program Officer and Speaker Introducer

Evan leads the mentorship program under the EMBS umbrella and aligns seasoned professionals with young professionals or students seeking advice about managing their professional life successfully. Evan gets to meet with individuals interested in becoming mentors and the ones interested in having a mentor. Evan identifies the pairing that are most logical and facilitates introductions. Evan also defines the parameters of the program and the conditions under which the mentor-mentee relationship are defined (duration, expectations from each party, term of engagement). Evan’s voice is commanding and perfect for introducing the keynote speaker each month and therefore Evan acts as the Speaker Introducer. Evan prepares in advance an enthusiastic introduction and delivers it after Bob Rumer’s welcome of the audience and presentation of the officers’ team.

Background:    Evan works at Baxter Healthcare Corporation's Bioscience Division as a project engineer specializing in cGMP manufacturing process and quality controls and is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes for high efficiency and high quality.
